Frequently asked questions

What TDS range is considered brackish water?+

The appropriate design depends on the full water analysis, not TDS alone. BWRO is normally applied to saline groundwater and other feeds below seawater salinity.

Is pretreatment needed for borehole water?+

Often yes. Filtration, softening, iron removal or chemical dosing may be required based on hardness, iron, turbidity, silica and scaling tendency.
